Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 May 2026
These terms govern your use of iBOrbit's services, including the iBOrbit community, intensives, and Office Hours. By signing up or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.
1. About iBOrbit
iBOrbit provides IB (International Baccalaureate) coaching and community services. Our services include:
- iBOrbit Community: A paid Skool community with weekly Q&As, exemplar walkthroughs, and resource library.
- Cohort Intensive: A 4-week cohort-based coaching programme for IB essay-based components, in groups of up to 12 students per subject.
- 1-to-1 Intensive: A bespoke 4-week 1-to-1 coaching programme for a specific IB component (IA, EE, IO, TOK essay).
- Office Hours: 1-to-1 drop-in coaching sessions, available to active iBOrbit Community members only.
iBOrbit is operated by SuperiorStudents. UK-based. All prices in USD.
2. Eligibility
To use iBOrbit's services:
- You must be 16 years or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf, and that they have authorized the payment.
- You must be a current or prospective IB Diploma Programme student, or the parent/guardian of one.
- You must provide accurate information when signing up or applying.
- You must not be subject to any IBO academic misconduct sanctions that would make our services inappropriate.
We reserve the right to decline service or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
3. Coaching Scope and Limits
What our coaches do
- Explain IB mark scheme criteria and how they apply
- Diagnose structural and analytical decisions in your work
- Provide feedback on your drafts using the IB rubric
- Suggest revisions and discuss alternative approaches
- Walk through their own past work as instructional examples
- Answer questions about your subject content and methodology
What our coaches never do
- Write any portion of your submitted work
- Edit or revise text in your draft directly
- Produce content that you submit as your own
- Provide answers to specific assessment questions
- Take exams or complete assessments on your behalf
- Share other students' work without their permission
This boundary exists to protect your academic integrity. The IBO's academic honesty principles require that all submitted work be your own. Our coaching is designed to teach you how to make better decisions about your work; you write every word yourself.
If you ask us to cross this line, we will decline and explain why.
4. Payment Terms
Pricing
Prices for each product are listed on iborbit.com/intensives. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but any change will not affect a programme you've already enrolled in.
Payment
All payments are processed through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the listed amount.
Currency
Listed prices are in USD. International cards may incur conversion fees from your bank; these are not iBOrbit's responsibility.
Installments (1-to-1 Intensive only)
For the 1-to-1 Intensive, we offer a 50/50 installment plan. The first 50% is charged at enrollment; the second 50% is charged 14 days into the programme. The full amount is owed regardless of completion; the installment structure is for cash flow convenience only.
Founding pricing
Some products have introductory or founding pricing that closes when capacity is reached. The pricing in effect at the time of your enrollment is the pricing that applies, not the pricing at any later date.
5. Refunds and Guarantee
The grade improvement guarantee
Our intensives carry a grade improvement guarantee, as detailed on the guarantee page. Read that page for the full terms; it is incorporated into this agreement by reference. Key points:
- The Cohort Intensive guarantees one grade improvement on the IB 1–7 scale, measured by an independent IB tutor.
- The 1-to-1 Intensive guarantees one grade improvement (or a 7 if your baseline is a 6), measured by an independent IB tutor.
- If the guarantee is not met and you completed the programme requirements, you receive a full refund within 7 business days.
Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a refund only if:
- You completed the programme's required activities (see the guarantee page for the specific requirements)
- Both your baseline and final work were marked by an independent tutor we arranged
- The marks did not meet the stated guarantee
Non-guarantee refunds
- Within 7 days of enrollment, before the programme starts: full refund, no questions.
- After the programme starts, before Day 7: full refund minus a $100 administration fee.
- After Day 7: refunds are determined by the guarantee process. No discretionary refunds outside the guarantee.
Membership refunds
The iBOrbit Community membership is billed monthly. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current month.
Office Hours
Single sessions and term blocks are non-refundable once booked. Term blocks not used within 12 months expire.
6. Academic Integrity
You agree to use iBOrbit's services in compliance with the IBO's academic honesty principles. Specifically:
- You will not submit any work to the IBO that was written, edited, or substantially rewritten by an iBOrbit coach.
- You will not share iBOrbit-provided materials (recordings, marked feedback, exemplar walkthroughs) with other current IB students in ways that could constitute academic dishonesty.
- You will use any sample work shown to you for instructional purposes only, not as content to incorporate into your own submissions.
If we have reason to believe you are using our services to facilitate academic misconduct, we may terminate your account without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
Our content
All materials provided by iBOrbit (course content, written materials, video recordings, exemplar walkthroughs, marking feedback, etc.) are owned by iBOrbit or its coaches and are licensed to you for personal educational use only. You may not redistribute, resell, publicly post, or otherwise share these materials without our written permission.
Your work
You retain ownership of any work you submit to iBOrbit for review or coaching. By submitting work to us, you grant iBOrbit a limited license to mark it, provide feedback on it, and use anonymized excerpts for internal coach training. We will not publicly share your work without your explicit consent.
Shared insights
General insights, frameworks, and instructional content remain iBOrbit's IP regardless of how they were developed during your coaching.
8. User Conduct
In the iBOrbit Community and during live sessions, you agree to:
- Treat other students, coaches, and staff with respect
- Not share other students' work without their consent
- Not use the community for off-topic promotion, harassment, or spam
- Not attempt to identify or contact other students outside the community without their permission
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conduct rules.
9. Privacy and Data
iBOrbit collects only the personal data necessary to deliver services: your name, email, payment information (handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers), and any work you submit for coaching.
Your data is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. Detailed privacy policy on the privacy page.
10. Termination
You may cancel your iBOrbit Community membership at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, engage in academic misconduct, or behave in a way that harms other community members or coaches. In such cases, refunds are at our discretion and not guaranteed.
11. Limitation of Liability
iBOrbit provides educational coaching services. We do not guarantee:
- Any specific final IBO grade or moderation outcome
- University admission or scholarship outcomes
- Career or academic success beyond the specific work product covered by our guarantee
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we will notify active customers by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of our services after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales.
